Therapeutic/Medical Massage

60 minutes: $95
90 minutes: $130.00
120 minutes: $180.00

Medical/therapeutic massage therapy treatment is planned out with a specific goal in mind, and your massage will factor into a larger treatment plan that is based around your health needs and goals. These sessions may include various techniques such as deep tissue, cupping,  lymphatic,  stretching, ext. Sessions are completely custom designed for your body to help meet your wellness goals.

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy

60 minutes: $95
30 minutes: $50

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (Chikly Methods) aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LDT can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, post and pre operation therapy, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, and strengthened resistance to illness.

The LDT process involves the use of gentle manual maneuvers to aid in the recirculation of body fluids. While the exact amount of pressure applied depends on the area and pathology involved, it averages an extremely light five grams, or the equivalent weight of a nickel. Therapists work with flat hands, using all the fingers to simulate gentle, specific wave-like movements. These subtle manual maneuvers activate lymph and interstitial fluid circulation as well as stimulate the functioning of the immune and parasympathetic nervous systems. Using this technique, trained therapists are able to detect the specific rhythm, direction, depth and quality of the lymph flow anywhere in the body. From there they can use their hands to perform Manual Lymphatic Mapping (MLM) of the vessels to assess the overall direction of lymphatic circulation, areas of stagnation, and the best alternate pathways for draining lymph and other body fluids (Chikly, 2001).

In essence, Lymph Drainage Therapy works to help recirculate body fluids, stimulate functioning of the immune system, and promote a state of relaxation and balance within the autonomic nervous system. It is shown that when these actions are accomplished, the results may be:

Reduction in edemas (swelling) and lymphedemas of many origins

Detoxification of the body

Regeneration of tissues (e.g., from burns and pre- and post-surgical scarring) and anti-aging effects

Relief of chronic inflammation and conditions such as acne, eczema and allergies

Immune system stimulation for preventive and therapeutic effects

Reduction in the symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia

Relief of chronic pain

Deep relaxation to aid insomnia, depression, stress, loss of vitality, and loss of memory

Anti-spastic actions to relieve conditions such as voluntary or involuntary muscle hypertonus

Alleviation of adiposis and cellulite tissue

Swedish Massage

60 minutes: $95.00
90 minutes: $130
120 minutes: $180

Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oil with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility. Hot towels and stones are included.

Deep Tissue Massage

60 minutes: $95
90 minutes: $130.00
120 minutes: $180.00

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Cupping and Massage

60 minutes: $95
90 minutes: $130
120 minutes: $180

Cupping is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Wood Therapy & Lymphatic Massage

60 minutes: $95

Colombian wood therapy uses many different wooden tools to break down fat and cellulite, tighten skin, increase lymphatic drainage and conure the body.  This technique can be used for aesthetics and therapeutic purposes. Wood therapy can help to release muscle tension and fascia. Most commonly used though for body contouring and cellulite reduction. I include lymphatic massage in these sessions to further benefit the process. A special blend of Lymphatic stimulating essential oils is used during these sessions.

Post op sessions be done after 6 weeks or before with doctor consent.

Pregnancy Massage

60 minutes: $95
90 minutes: $130

Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.

CranioSacral

60 minutes: $95.00

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. It was pioneered and developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research at Michigan State University where he served as professor of biomechanics.

Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams - about the weight of a nickel - practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it's effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

Reiki

60 minutes: $80.00

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body. As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. During a session, I work directly with your energy field to remove blockages, detoxify your system, and restore your vital life force energy. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct the necessary energy force between us. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain. Sessions may include guided mediations and crystal healing.

Hot Stone Therapy

60 minutes: $95.00
90 minutes: $130.00

Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.

Vita Flex & Raindrop

30 minutes: $50
60 minutes: $95
Add on: $25.00

Vita flex literally translates to “vitality of the reflexes.” The vita flex technique has been around for a very long time–since ancient Tibet, in fact. The technique was introduced to the United States in the 1920’s.

Basically, the vita flex technique uses the body’s reflexes–found on the feet–to transmit the therapeutic effects of essential oils into the body.

To work, the vita flex technique uses slight pressure against the reflex points. This produces an electrical charge, known as piezoelectric, caused by the fingers to occur. When properly performed, the electrical impulse from the fingers transfers along with the therapeutic qualities of the essential oil along the nerve pathways

Once the essential oils have entered the neurological pathways, they begin filling in the shorts {or gaps} in the electrical system of the nerves. This leads to body systems being supported and wellness to pursue.

Add this technique into any massage for $20

Sports Massage

60 minutes: $95.00
90 minutes: $130.00

Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function.

Table Thai Massage

60 minutes: $95.00

Thai massage is more energizing and rigorous than most other forms of massage therapy. It's also called Thai Yoga massage, because I use my hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like postures and stretches. My clients say Thai massage is like doing yoga without doing any of the work. No oil is applied, so you are fully dressed during the session. A single Thai massage session will help you release stress and relieve pain, and help you function more effectively at work and home.
